My 80's Music Flashback Week

Can you remember some of the big songs from the 1980's? I was searching YouTube the other day and found most of my favourite clips from the 80's are there in all their glory. Man, it can bring back some memories and is a great idea for a flashback party!

So I have decided to do a 1980's Music Video week here at 30 Day Man! I will play Blogging DJ and load up some of my favourites from the 80's and embed the YouTube video here in each daily post.

I'll kick it off with Milli Vanilli today! Yes, the lyrical David Copperfield's were huge back in the late 80's and proceeded to implode when the truth hit the streets that they were really wannabe dancers that didn't actually sing and simply lip synced the music.

I was 11 years old at the time, and was fairly devastated when the news broke that Milli Vanilli were fakers! Sitting there in my hypercolor shirt and my hammer pants (or where they called clown pants?) I shed a few tears as I played games on my Commodore 64 like Paperboy, Strider, Shinobi and The Last Ninja! (Such good times!)
