Already after only Day 1 of the Thirty Day Challenge, and my own personal challenge - I feel a positive vibe!
My TDC Team 'Team Dent' - caught up on Skype (SkypeCast) and introduced ourselves. It seems we have a good mix of experience and new blood. It was a little shakey getting the SkypeCast going - but we got there in the end. Now, we wait for the green light from Ed Dale and his team.
On the personal side of things - I had some GREAT feedback on the Thirty Day Challenge forums from 'Nello' a Singapore gent. Nello gave some tips on positive thinking and how to focus on my goals at hand. (Namely the weight loss!) Here they are:
1. BE SPECIFIC: write down current weight - what regimen you are going to follow - how are you changing your lifestyle - what is the optimal weight you want to achieve.
2. FOCUS: keep these hints all over the place as a remainder of what your priority is - getting in shape - so that whenever the occasion arises for you to fall in "temptations" you brain is going to kick your ass and keep you in track.
3. DESIRE: Have a burning desire to lose your weight - a desire that can keep you awake at night and that consumes each single moment of your spare time. Explain to your subconscious mind WHY this is so important - and from there 'LIVE AS YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED YOUR GOAL' and your goal will ultimately be realized.
Thanks once again Nello for your words - I am certainly taking them on board!
Tonight I have started with some basic cardio stuff - a medium level of action, 30 minutes of slow jogging. 5 minutes of aerobic type activity and 10 minutes of basic exercise (push-up, sit-up etc)

My goal for tomorrow; eat a hardy breakfast to reduce large food intake during the day. Lunch and dinner to contain less meat - preferably fish and salads. (I will also be increasing my water intake - hopefully something like 1.5L + of the good old H2O tomorrow and each day of this month)
