EntreCard interest and competitions abound

The buzz around recent blog widget and web startup 'EntreCard' continues; the interest in the new program now reaching new heights through competitions and 'chain programs' launched by bloggers to increase their credits and gain exposure of their blogs.

One interesting promotion being run is a 'tag' system, where a group of entrecard users simply tag each other and consistently drop cards on each others blogs; achieving credits and a higher advertising rating for each blog involved.

Over at the Saphrym blog several little promotions are being run and its an interesting twist on the EntreCard system; certainly several of the ideas have potential to give many blogs additional free exposure when done right. It was nice to find the Saphrym blog through EntreCard, such is the advantage of the card drop system. As soon as I saw the smooth lines of the impressive template and caught some of the good content - it was an easy choice to throw such a blog into my RSS subscriber list; this is the major pulling point for EntreCard - it gets people to your blog and if you've got a good formula; you'll get readers for life.

On the back of the EntreCard sharing techniques and systems several bloggers are running competitions featuring decent prizes that might include the entrecard credits themselves and some cold hard cash too. These little comps are the way to go to drive traffic and backlinks to blogs and usually prove successful in getting visitors to the site in question!
